McClenaghan's lack of attentiveness, Maxwell's assault and more in our
Points Table
A win for Mumbai Indians should take them to double-digits - technically only three more victories from qualification. A win for KXIP will take them to six points and give them some breathing space in what's increasingly becoming a congested middle part of the table.

Who's at No.3, KXIP?
Kings XI Punjab have batting issues to sort out if they are to get out of this rut. One of the critical issues is for them to figure out an ideal No. 3 batsman. Wriddhiman Saha, Axar Patel, Marcus Stoinis and even Glenn Maxwell have taken a shot and failed. Ideally, captain Maxwell might be best placed to shepherd the innings from there.
Who'll it be today?
Build Up:
Both teams made a bright start to IPL 2017 but only one team has managed to sustain its form in to the second week of the tournament. Mumbai Indians, unlike their slow-starter self, have won each of their last four fixtures after a defeat in the season opener. The troika of Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Nitish Rana have emerged as the unlikely heroes in Mumbai's blistering start to the season.
On the side, KXIP have been plagued by familiar problems. They appeared to have turned a corner under Maxwell's captaincy with two wins to begin the season but have since tapered off to lose their next three games. Manan Vohra's form arrived as a breath of fresh air last game but can KXIP reverse their fortunes at Indore, where both their victories have come?
Welcome to Match 22 of IPL 2017 - Yes, we've just about past the 1/3rd mark for this season... Here's hoping for a cracker.
